I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science. Prior to joining the University of Waterloo in 2018, I completed a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship at The University of British Columbia under the supervision of Dr. Paul Gustafson.
Education
Ph.D. in Statistics, Simon Fraser University (2016)
M.Sc. in Statistics, Université de Montréal (2012)
B.Sc. in Mathematics, Université de Montréal (2010)
My research focuses on developing innovative statistical methodologies to address challenges in real-world applications. I am interested in addressing methodological issues in the evaluation of the comparative effectiveness and safety of medical interventions, in the quantification of methane emissions through aerial surveys, and in the quantification of homeless populations through street-based survey approaches.
I have expertise in a range of statistical and biostatistical domains, including network meta-analysis, Bayesian modeling, survey sampling, and capture-recapture methods. I am an active member and founder of WatMiM, uWaterloo's Methods in Meta-analysis research group.
